The games
Word Fall and Type Race are free browser games aimed at a desktop keyboard. Mobile phones get a landing page, not a touch-control version of the arcade. An HTML embed of Word Fall may appear on itch.io or similar portals; the same rules apply there.
Accounts and scores
You do not need an account to play solo. Sign-in (via Clerk) is required to submit to the public leaderboard, create multiplayer rooms, or keep a profile. Only NORMAL Word Fall runs from a signed-in session are leaderboard-eligible. Practice, CHILL, HARDCORE, and embed runs are not a public ranking.
Do not forge, script, or replay scores. The server checks session tokens and rejects submissions that do not add up. Cheating can get your scores removed.
Content
Type Race passages are public-domain literature, classical philosophy, US government works, traditional proverbs, or original lines written for type.win. Do not scrape the site to republish the games as your own product.
Availability
The site is provided as-is. Hosting, databases, and auth can fail. We may change or remove features. If you embed the game, keep the embed URL pointed at type.win so players get updates.
Privacy
How we handle accounts, scores, cookies, and analytics is described on the Privacy page. We do not sell your data.
